Listen Target, sometimes you clothing construction sucks. I know I’m not the only who bought this lace peplum top from Target a while back who had issues with the zipper. Every time I’d put this shirt on the zipper would works it’s way down on its own. I could only wear it in the fall/winter months because I needed to wear it with a little jacket.
I’m not sure when or where this idea came from but the solution is amazing and like stupid easy!
Since spending Easter this year with my sister, who is a total healthy eater, I’ve tried really hard to eliminate all sugar from my diet as well as any food that’s in a bag, can or box. I’m still eating sugars by way of fruits and certain foods with naturally occurring sugars but refined sugar, granulated sugar, sugar in the raw, any type of high fructose corn syrup or variation of…that type of sugar is not an option anymore. I’m an ice-cream junkie, a cookie-holic & LOVE chocolate. So this has been pretty tough for me, especially cutting sugar from my coffee. But luckily there are loads of ‘healthy’ ways to satiate my sweet tooth and stick to a cleaner way of eating.
Case in point: Nutballs!! I call them Nutballs, you can call them whatever…
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup walnuts
1tbsp RAW honey (melted with a splash of water)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tsp Cacao
Dash of salt
Zap it in a food processor (I use my NutriBullet) till it’s like a kinda chunky smooth consistency. Roll it out into little balls and stick them in the fridge.
Just one and I’m totally satisfied! I’ll eat one before the gym to boost my energy or as part of my mid-day snack.
I have a feeling I’ll be making these often and playing with the recipe as well.
This table was never very nice…since the day I bought it off some old guy on Craigslist. I had plans to sand it and refinish it but that never happened and we used to be very careful with it but over time we forgot to use coasters and water rings started popping up. It really started to look awful, faded and scratched.
Want to know how the table went from this…
So easy, 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar & 1/4 cup Olive Oil. If you run out, mix up more. Just dip a wash cloth in the mix and rub it in.
I know the table could really use a good sanding a restaining but in the mean time it looks better than it ever has.
Pinned it to win it and I consider this A WIN!
Loving my Cooper & Co. market bag.
Super excited to add this to Block & Battaglia. Falling in love with leather over here.
I purchased this fabric a while go and it was meant to be used for a shirt but instead it made a cute mini skirt. Part of me wishes I had more now since the patterns really growing in me.
Rarely will you find me in a tee shirt but when you do, know that it probably has some very special meaning to me.
This old tee-shirt is from my first trip to NYC with my dad when I was a kid. It’s from none other than Bloomingdale’s which was ALL the rage back then. Oh Bloomie’s.
